I am mesmerized by stars: shooting stars at summer camp, the Milky Way, and beautiful starry nights that make you just stop and look up. Over the years, I collected my own. My husband. My kids. My parents. My friends. The people who show up, shine brightly and cheer you on, and make life feel full. This bakery dream has lived in my heart for the last twelve years, and every one of my lucky stars listened, brainstormed, and dreamed alongside me.

Twelve years ago, I was diagnosed with celiac disease, and so were two of my three, then young, children. In 2025, my oldest joined our celiac band. Each diagnosis brought me back to the same dream: a bakery full of food so good, the fact that it's gluten-free is just a bonus. Then, I met Jess, a brilliant, creative, and talented baker, one of my brightest lucky stars, and finally, I had everything I needed to bring Lucky Stars Bakehouse to life. We bake for everyone. We just happen to be gluten-free.
